Community Voluntary Groups

Community Voluntary Group: In each of the three countries Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction teams established to strengthen the capacities of targeted communities in Disaster Risk Reduction/Disaster Management . Members of these teams selected from the local population. Criteria for selecting members are: 1. Motivation and willingness to use his/her time to support vulnerable people. 2. High sense of responsibility. 3. Different age groups. 4. Different sub-groups such as female, ethnic minorities, disabled and socially disadvantaged.
