School Safety

School safety: Teachers working in schools of targeted communities trained on the following topics: Disaster Risk Reduction, First Aid, Psycho Social Support, School Evacuation, how to make non-structural mitigation at home to make the homes safer through the Family Emergency Plan and Climate Change Adaptation. Teachers received printed teaching and educational materials. After returning to their schools the trained teachers conduct non-formal education sessions, as an after-school activity for school pupils on the same topics.
